Bando Yoga

Bando yoga is a form of yoga came from Myanmar usually taught alongside bando. It is based on the internal training of Indian martial arts and is often referred to as peasant or slave yoga. It was for the common man and also used by ancient warriors of northern Burma to maintain health and protect from illness and disease.

Bando yoga is used for three main purposes.

It is practiced for over all fitness of health, promotion of illness and different diseases and restoring or  recovering from any injury and illness.

It is not a yoga system for enlightenment, it is a yoga for developing but not maintaining efficient functionality in our everyday life, if it be as a worker or a monk or a warrior.
